New Cashless Tolling at Golden Gate Bridge

Four convenient payment options now available

The iconic Golden Gate Bridge has transitioned to a fully electronic toll collection system, eliminating the need for cash payments. Motorists can now choose from four seamless options to pay their tolls:

• FasTrak Account: FasTrak users enjoy discounted tolls and automatic deductions from their accounts.
• License Plate Account: Simply register your license plate and pay tolls online or through the app.
• One-Time Payment: Pay tolls online within 48 hours of crossing the bridge.
• Toll Invoice: Receive a monthly invoice for tolls incurred during the previous month.

With no more need to stop and pay tolls, traffic congestion is expected to decrease, resulting in smoother and more efficient journeys across the bridge.

Toll Charges and Updates

As of July 1, 2023, the Golden Gate Bridge toll charges for passenger vehicles are as follows:

• FasTrak: $8 per crossing
• All other payment options: $9 per crossing
